What is Beizray?

Beizray is a prescription anticancer medication that includes docetaxel and albumin in a kit containing separate vials of each.

The active ingredient of Beizray, docetaxel, is a chemotherapy that kills cancer cells by interfering with the way they grow. Albumin is a stabilizer, which is used to deliver the docetaxel into your body.

Beizray can cause serious side effects. See the Important Safety Information below and Patient Information. See accompanying full Prescribing Information, including Boxed WARNING.

Free of synthetic solvents like polysorbate 80 (PS-80) or PEG300.

Hypersensitivity reactions and injection related adverse events can occur from docetaxel itself and may potentially be exacerbated by synthetic solvents, such as PS-80, impacting treatment consistency.*

Instead, Beizray uses human-derived albumin, the body’s most abundant carrier protein, to deliver docetaxel.

*Beizray contains a Boxed WARNING for hypersensitivity reactions, and there is insufficient data demonstrating the incidence or severity of these will be lower with Beizray than with other docetaxel formulations.
